<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine such that when a hole formed so as to cool an interior of the rotary electric machine is provided at a suitable position for the cooling of the interior of the rotary electric machine, the hold can be provided in an easy method. <P>SOLUTION: A fan motor 1 includes a shaft 2, a yoke 5, and an end housing 20 fitted to an opening end of the yoke 5, and the end housing 20 is in a body independent of the yoke. The end housing 20 has an air vent 29 formed to link the interior of the yoke 5 to the outside, the air vent 29 is positioned closely to an edge of the end housing 20 in a radial direction of the shaft 2, and two regions which are successive across the air vent 29 in the radial direction of the shaft 2 are formed without overlapping with each other in an axial direction of the shaft 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
