<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the processing load to determine a trouble location on a transmission network. <P>SOLUTION: An optical transmission system 1 transmits data between a plurality of transmission apparatuses 2 by using an OTN4. The transmission apparatuses 2 each include a multiframe termination circuit 24 which receives data from an upstream transmission apparatus 2 connected by using the OTN4 and extracts from the received data attribute information including the IP address on a DCN5 of a transmission apparatus 2A at the destination of report and route information indicating a via node. Furthermore, the transmission apparatuses 2 each include a label processing circuit 27 which writes the extracted attribute information over memory 26 to update it and, upon detecting a trouble in the OTN4, notifies a trouble alarm by using the trap function of an SNMP to the transmission apparatus 2A at the destination of report via the DCN5 on the basis of the IP address in the attribute information. Furthermore, the transmission apparatus 2A at the destination of report determines, upon acquiring trouble information from a downstream transmission apparatus 2C via the DCN5, a trouble location on the OTN4 on the basis of the route information in the trouble report and then executes trouble recovery processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
