The present invention relates to a method and a device for network access. The method for network access comprises: generating an identifier list of the communication networks corresponding to the communication networks to which the neighbourhood belongs, the identifiers of communication networks on the identifier list of the communication networks being arranged randomly; and sending the identifier list of the communication networks, for user equipment UE to select a communication network corresponding to the identifier of the communication network at a fixed position on the identifier list of the communication networks for access. In the method and device for network access in the embodiments of the present invention, since the identifiers of the communication networks on the identifier list of the communication networks are arranged randomly, UE can access a communication network according to the identifier for the communication network randomly arranged onto the identifier list of the communication networks, thereby effectively avoiding the problem of one communication network being accessed considerably whereas the other network has rare access, so that the networks from all operators have equal chance of being accessed by UE. |
