<p>The invention relates to a diet halva composition and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the composition comprises 40...60% sunflower seeds, 20...30% isomalt, 20...30% maltitol, 0.2...0.3 soapwort (Saponaria officinalis) extract. The process, as claimed by the invention, consists in dissolving the isomalt in hot water, resulting in a syrup having a concentration of 84...86° Bx, admixing the maltitol as solution in a concentration of 77...82°Bx, and boiling them up to a concentration of 90...94°Bx, admixing the soapwort extract and mixing it with the syrup, while stirring, up to obtaining a white halva with a density of up to 1.1 g/cm, after which 60% sunflower seeds are added to 40% white halva, to result in a diet product having a moisture content of 4%, at the most, and a fat content of 40%, at the most.</p> |
