<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system capable of detecting, with higher precision, failure in a current sensor for detecting an electric current running through a reactor of a converter. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply system selects between a first determination mode that controls the operation of a converter by either of a continuous mode for continuing running of electric currents through a reactor or a discontinuous mode for intermittent running of electric currents through the reactor and determines whether or not a current sensor has failure therein in the continuous mode (step S002), and a second determination mode that determines whether or not the current sensor has failure therein in the discontinuous mode (step S003) and determines failure in the current sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
