<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system that removes silica and thereby maintains stable operation. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes: a condensed water tank 15 that stores therein condensed water that is recovered from gas emitted from a fuel cell 13 and a hydrogen generator 11; an alkalizing device 19 that alkalizes the condensed water stored in the condensed water tank 15; a water purifier 18 that purifies the condensed water; and a purified water tank 17 that stores therein purified water. A condensed water feeder 110 sends the condensed water stored in the condensed water tank 15, to the alkalizing device 19, where silica in the condensed water is ionized. Next, the condensed water is sent to the water purifier 18, where the ionized silica is absorbed and removed from the condensed water. Then, the purified water is sent to the purified water tank 17. The purified water is supplied from the purified water tank 17 to the hydrogen generator 11 and the fuel cell 13 so as to activate the fuel cell system 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
