<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement structure for a spent fuel rack that enables simplification and low cost of the structure and appropriate improvement of earth quake proof of the spent fuel rack. <P>SOLUTION: A spent fuel rack 32 has a plurality of cells 32a into which spent fuel can be inserted from upward in a vertical direction, and is fixed at a lower portion thereof to a bottom of a spent fuel pool 31.
