<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a layout of a logical page in a multipage printing with a simpler operation, without requiring a troublesome operation to change the layout of the logical page in the multipage printing. <P>SOLUTION: The logical page is laid out and displayed on a physical page based on the setting of the multipage printing.
