<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display system for automatically displaying a resource for notification when information of the resource for notification is acquired. <P>SOLUTION: The information display system with a web browser for acquiring, analyzing and displaying resource information from a network includes: start state acquisition means for acquiring whether a start state is a normal operation state or a stand-by state; resource identification information acquisition means for acquiring resource identification information of a resource; resource identification information detection means for notification for determining whether or not the resource identification information acquired by the resource identification information acquisition means is the resource identification information for notification of the resource for notification; and start state transition means for transiting the display system to a normal operation when the start state acquired by the start state acquisition means is the stand-by state on the basis of the resource identification information for notification.
