<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove water contained in cooling air, while minimizing pressure loss of an intake duct for supplying the cooling air to a cooling passage of a battery case. <P>SOLUTION: Cooling air sucked from a cooling air intake port 48a into an intake duct 48 is supplied through an upstream air intake passage 54 and a downstream air intake passage 55 to the cooling passage of the battery case. Water is captured from a part of the cooling air sucked from the cooling air intake port 48a into the upstream air intake passage 54, in contact with a bottom wall 52a arranged to be inclined downward toward the downstream air intake passage 55. The water contained in the rest of the cooling air is captured in contact with a vertical wall 52c, and the cooling air flows into the downstream air intake passage 55. While effectively capturing the water contained in the cooling air by the bottom wall 52a and the vertical wall 52c, an opening area of the downstream air intake passage 55 is increased by a notch 52b formed on the bottom wall 52a, thereby minimizing pressure loss. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
