<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type continuously variable transmission which can discharge air mixed with oil in an oil chamber and can suppress oil from leaking from the oil chamber. <P>SOLUTION: The belt type continuously variable transmission includes: a seal member 18 provided in a movable sheave to seal the gap between the inner circumference of the movable sheave and the outer circumference of a rotary shaft 11; and a recess 20 which is located to more separate from a fixation sheave 6 than the seal member 18 when the movable sheave 8 is closer to the side of the fixation sheave 6 than a specific position, and is formed in the outer circumference of the rotary shaft 11 to be located closer to the side of the fixation sheave 6 than the end side of the fixation sheave 6 in the axis direction of the movable sheave 8 when the movable sheave is located more separately from the fixation sheave 6 than the specific position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
