<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control program and an image output setting device, capable of prompting a user to select a function recommended by the device. <P>SOLUTION: A control program operates on a device displaying a setting screen for setting a function regarding image output. For each effect corresponding to the image output, a plurality of messages having a difference in representation of recommending the effect are registered in a database. The device is caused to function as a control part for displaying a function recommended by the device when displaying the setting screen and for selecting and displaying a predetermined message out of the plurality of messages corresponding to the effect given by the displayed function, with reference to the database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
