<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file processing apparatus in which even when some of a plurality of storages have been damaged, it is possible to reproduce files as much as possible from the surviving storages. <P>SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, a file processing apparatus includes reading means and reproducing means. The reading means reads information from a processing target medium.
