<p>The invention relates to an actuating device for a penetrometer intended for agricultural works, to statically determine the soil resistance to penetration. According to the invention, the device consists of a metal frame (1) having at its top part two platelets (a) by means of which two side plates (3) are mounted with some screws (2), each of said plates (3) being provided with a detachable knuckle joint (b) at the lower part, four sitting plates (h), each of them being provided with a metal spur (i), an articulation (j) and two holes (k) wherethrough a locking bolt (5) passes, and, at the rear part, a bar (d), two eyes (e) with one bolt (f) and with two bolts (g), respectively, a double-acting hydraulic cylinder (4) having welded onto its body a piece (c) with two spindles, on the actuating rod there being mounted a spherical piece (8) and a plate (6) which are mounted, by means of some screws (7), at the upper and lower central part, two spherical half-bearings (l) and two supports (m) which, by means of some nuts (9) and some Grower washers (10) support an electronic penetrometer (11) with digital display, provided with a guard (12) and, on the sides, with two slides (n') with linear ball bearings for mounting a guiding system (13) consisting of two cylindrical bars (o) which are rigidly fixed at their ends by some supports (p) and, by some screws (14), onto the metal framework (1).</p> |
