<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader for suppressing density variation of original data due to a position of an original reading section. <P>SOLUTION: An image reader 20 includes: an original conveyance path 36; a reading glass 40; an original reading section 32; ROM 410; CPU 420; a driver 430; an amplifier 440; a shading correction section 450; and a 1DLUT conversion section 460. The ROM 410 stores a density correction value for correcting density of original data which is read by the original reading section 32 in accordance with a position of the original reading section 32. The CPU 420 moves the original reading section 32, reads the reading glass 40, moves the original reading section 32 in a position with high transparency in the reading glass, and reads te density correction value from the ROM 410 in accordance with the position of the original reading section 32. The driver 430, the amplifier 440, the shading correction section 450 and the 1DLUT conversion section 460 correct the density of the original data on the basis of the density correction value which is read by the CPU 420. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
