<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for concrete placement which fixes a reinforcing bar inside a form to make a covering depth of concrete between the reinforcing bar and the form constant. <P>SOLUTION: A spacer for concrete placement is obtained by integrally forming a fixing part, which engages and fixes respectively both vertical and horizontal reinforcing bars for making a covering depth of concrete between the inner surface of a form and a reinforcing bar constant, and an interval maintaining part, which is formed integrally with the fixing part to make an interval between the inner surface of the form and the reinforcing bar constant.
