In various embodiments, apparatus, systems, computer-readable media (including non-transitory computer-readable media) and methods for managing a project are provided. In various embodiments, data indicating a first contractual obligation of a first entity to a second entity may be stored in computer-readable memory, e.g., by an application server. The application server may receive, from a third entity, an electronic communication including a second contractual obligation to the third entity. The application server may also receive, from the second entity, an electronic communication including an indication that the second entity has approved the second contractual obligation and/or taken no exception to having the first contractual obligation to the second entity reduced by an amount proportional to the obligation. The application server may then store data indicating a third contractual obligation by the first entity to the third entity for an amount equal to the second contractual obligation.
