<p>An apparatus for lifting and supporting at least one dive tank and associated gear, the apparatus including : a dive tank holder; and a lift mechanism which is connected to the dive tank holder; wherein the lift mechanism is configured to provide a substantially vertical motion only and is attached to a base which is configured to be either : free standing and stable when carrying the at least one dive tank; or connectable to another support member so as to be stable when carrying the at least one dive tank, wherein the dive tank holder is configured to position the dive tank vertically in any one of a lowermost position, a fitting height, and a working height and wherein vertical movement of the dive tank holder is at least partly mechanically assisted by the lift mechanism.</p> |
