PURPOSE: A terminal, a confirmation service system, and a method are provided to increase stability by hardly performing fabrication of driving distance and to eliminating necessity of mounting a separate device for confirming the driving distance on a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Vehicle insurance information and terminal information are stored in a database unit(220). When a driving distance confirmation point of a member vehicle arrives, a server(110) transmits a message which requests driving distance confirmation to a terminal. The server receives confirmation information which includes driving distance and a vehicle number from the terminal. The server determines whether or not the driving distance is within reference driving distance. When the driving distance is not within the reference driving distance, the server informs current driving distance to an external insurance company system or an insurance manager.
