PURPOSE: An electrode for a vacuum interrupter is provided to improve adhesion force by using a slit reinforcement member closely fixed to the side of a contact unit. CONSTITUTION: A main slit(131) is formed with a preset tilt to a contact plate. At least one subsidiary slit(132) is formed between adjacent main slits. One end of the subsidiary slit faces a first main slit(i1). The other end of the subsidiary slit faces a second main slit(i2). The subsidiary slit is separated from the adjacent main slit.
