<p>The method involves conveying low viscosity fuel i.e. diesel, and viscous fluid i.e. rapeseed oil, from a high pressure pump (1) into a storage (2). The fuels are introduced from the storage into working space of a self-igniting internal combustion engine over an injection valve (9). The engine and a common-rail-injection device are controlled by an electronic control device (10). Different properties of the fuels are analyzed using the control device. The fuels or fuel mixture in the storage is determined and accordingly control of the engine is adjusted.</p> |
