The invention relates to vehicle trim having an ultrasound sensor assembly. The ultrasound sensor assembly comprises at least one ultrasound sensor element (20), which is provided in a cutout or an outwardly open cavity (30) in the vehicle trim. The cutout (30) or the outwardly open cavity (30) is formed by at least one vehicle trim element (10, 12), the outer face of which is not interrupted in order to receive the ultrasound sensor element (20). The invention further relates to a method for integrating ultrasound sensors in vehicle trim. At least one ultrasound sensor element (20) of an ultrasound sensor assembly is fixed to the vehicle trim. The ultrasound sensor element (20) is fixed in a cutout (30) or in an outwardly open cavity (30) in the vehicle trim, wherein the cutout (30) or the outwardly open cavity (30) in which the ultrasound sensor element (20) is fixed is formed by at least one vehicle trim element (10, 12), the outer face of which is not interrupted to receive the ultrasound sensor element (20).
