The burner device (1) comprises several flow channels (5,6) having flow cross-sections that change in the direction of flow. Each of the flow channels have a channel portion (7) with a smaller flow cross-sectional area, in which no ignition mixture flows through, and a channel portion (8) with a larger flow cross-sectional, in which an ignition mixture flows through.
