The present invention presents an optical information recording medium in which deformations brought about by changes to the environmental conditions are suppressed. The recording medium includes a transparent resin layer, a resin substrate that is thicker than the transparent resin layer, and an information recording layer disposed between the transparent resin layer and the resin substrate. A moisture absorption prevention film is formed on at least a portion of an outer principal surface of the resin substrate. <IMAGE>
