PURPOSE: An automatic thermal shutdown circuit is provided to be applied to a motor driver IC(Integrated Circuit) and to reduce production area and cost by being implemented with a CMOS(Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) process. CONSTITUTION: A first temperature detection part(100) detects temperature above a predetermined first temperature(T1) and provides a first temperature detection signal(STD1). A second temperature detection part(200) detects temperature below a second temperature(T2) predetermined to be lower than the first temperature and provides a second temperature detection signal(STD2). A shutdown signal generation part(300) provides a shutdown signal according to the first temperature detection signal and stops providing the shutdown signal according to the second temperature detection signal.
