A hose (10) which automatically expands longitudinally and automatically expands laterally upon the application of a water pressure is disclosed. The hose (10) can automatically expand longitudinally up to six times its unexpanded or contracted length. Upon release of the water pressure within the hose, the hose (10) will automatically contract to a contracted condition. The hose (10) includes a flexible inner tube (14) and an outer tube (12) having a fixed construction. The inner tube (14) is positioned within the outer tube (12) and is secured to the outer tube at the ends of the tubes which are adapters to couple to male and female water couplings. |
