[Also in Division F2] A shaft 1 is rotatably mounted in a support 2 and has an inclined portion 1a on which a wobble plate 4 is mounted by bearings 3 but is prevented from rotating by a rubber sleeve 5 which connects the plate 4 and support 2. In a modification, an eccentric bush 16 Fig. 2, (not shown) is located between an inclined shaft portion 11a and a ball bearing 13, and a balance weight 17 is mounted on shaft 11. Alternatively, the shaft portion 11a may be coaxial with the shaft 11 and an eccentric 16a, Fig. 3, (not shown) formed with an oblique bore. The plate 4 may support massaging apparatus, sanding apparatus, centrifugal mixers, or liquid agitators. |
