<p>One or more proteins, as set out in Table 1, may be used as normalisation proteins for biological assays. These proteins display lower inter-subject variation in their concentration in biological samples of healthy and diseased subjects than established normalisation proteins enabling improved analyses of biomarker data. The normalisation proteins include F-actin capping protein beta subunit (Cap Z beta), 26S protease regulatory subunit 6A, 14-3-3 protein gamma, serine/threonine protein phosphatase 2A catalytic subunit beta isoform and growth factor receptor-bound protein 2. The samples may be platelets or HepG2 cells.</p> |
