<p>The convoluted rubber gaiter (10) is made of elastic plastic material and has multiple alternating radially inward and radially outward kinks (13) for forming annular folds (14). The kinks are consecutively arranged in an axial direction of the convoluted rubber gaiter. An intermediate element (16) made of other elastic plastic material is arranged outside a cavity (11) between adjacent annular folds and partially prevents a direct contact of axially opposite flanks of the adjacent annular folds.</p>
