The hot drink machine (10) has a water reservoir (12), from which the water is removed, where the water reservoir is heated by a heating device (28). A cold fluid supply (14) is cooled by a cooling device (20) on a temperature below the ambient temperature. The cooling device has a cooling circuit (16) with a compressor (17), a capacitor line (18) and a return line (25) which is guided by a throttle valve (23) to the compressor. The capacitor line is guided by the compressor to the throttle valve. The capacitor line extends partially through the water reservoir.
