<p>A medical implantable occlusion device (100-800) is disclosed comprising a braiding of at least one thread, said braiding comprising an expanded diameter portion (102) at a distal end of the device, a tubular member (103) at a proximal end of the device extending along a longitudinal axis (104). The expanded diameter portion comprises loops (1103, 1104, 1204, 1304), formed by loop strands (1105, 1106, 1206, 1306) of the at least one thread, returning to the proximal end. An apex point (1107, 1108, 1208, 1308) of each of the loop strands corresponds to the turning point of the loop strands and to the point of each of the loop strands being arranged closest to a centre point (1117) of the expanded diameter portion, and the apex points are positioned intermediate between the centre point (1117) and a periphery (1113) of the expanded diameter portion.</p> |
