When the deviation between a first rotation cycle (Tp) estimated on the basis of detection by a G sensor (2b) and a second rotation cycle (Ta) estimated on the basis of a detection value from a wheel speed sensor (8) is no more than a prescribed value (α), the rotation position of each wheel corresponding to a wireless signal sent at a prescribed rotation position is used in wheel position determination; and when the deviation exceeds the prescribed value (α), the rotation position of each wheel corresponding to a wireless signal sent at a rotation position outside the prescribed rotation position is not used in wheel position determination.
