发明名称 The antistatic treatment of synthetic fibres
摘要 <p>A composition suitable for use in the antistatic treatment of synthetic fibres comprises an aqueous solution containing, per 1,000 parts by weight of water, (a) 3-25 parts by weight of a water-soluble diglycidyl ether of polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 300-1,500 which contains 0,75-4,5 epoxide equivalents per kg. and (b) 0,4-15 parts by weight of a primary, secondary or tertiary mono-or polyamine which is water-soluble to the extent of at least 1,5% by weight. Suitable amines are ethylene diamine, diethylene triamine, triethylene tetramine, tetraethylene pentamine, 1,2-diamino-2-methyl propane, N-N-dimethyl1,3-propylene diamine, N,N,N1,N1-tetramethyl ethylene diamine, N,N,N1,N11,N11-pentamethyl-diethylenetriamine, di(aminoethyl)ether, di-(aminoethyl) sulphide, dibutylamine, benzyldimethylamine, triethanolamine, cyclohexylamine, m-phenylenediamine, 2,4,6-tri(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl)-phenol, N,N-diethyl-1,3-diaminopropane and substituted alkylene polyamines comprising -CN radicals, radicals of the formula -(CH2CH2O)n-R in which n is an integer of 1-10 and R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl or acyl radical or aliphatically saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radicals containing 12-22 carbon atoms which are attached to a nitrogen atom of the amine either directly or through bridge members, e.g. -CO-groups. Mixtures of amines and mixtures of diglycidyl ethers may be used. One active hydrogen atom of an amine is preferably present per epoxide group of the diglycidyl ether or if an amine is used which contains no active hydrogen atoms attached to nitrogen, 0,5-2 tertiary amino groups are preferably present per epoxide group of the diglycidyl ether. After treatment the fibres are dried, e.g. at 30 DEG -50 DEG C., and the impregnation hardened by heating, e.g. at 110 DEG -130 DEG C. Specification 911,227 is referred to.ALSO:Synthetic fibres, e.g. cellulose acetate fibres having a degree of acetyl substitution of two and a half to three, polyacrylonitrile, polyamide, polyester, polyvinyl chloride and polyvinylidene chloride fibres, are rendered antistatic by impregnating them with an aqueous preparation containing, per 1,000 parts by weight of water, (a) 3-25 parts by weight of a water solublediglycidyl ether of a polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 300-1,500 which contains 0,75-4,5 epoxide equivalents per kg. and (b) 0,4-15 parts by weight of a primary, secondary or tertiary mono- or poly amine which is water-soluble to the extent of at least 1,5% by weight, squeezing them to such an extent that 0,5-2% by weight of solids calculated on the dry weight of the fibres are deposited, drying them, e.g. at 30 DEG -50 DEG C., and hardening the impregnation by heating, e.g. at 110 DEG -130 DEG C. Suitable amines are ethylene diamine, diethylene triamine, triethylene tetramine, tetraethylene pentamine, 1,2-diamino-2-methyl propane, N-N dimethyl-1,3-propylene diamine, N,N,N1,N1-tetramethyl ethylene diamine, N,N,N1,N11,N11-pentamethyl-diethylene triamine, di(aminoethyl)ether, di(aminoethyl)sulphide, dibutylamine, benzyl dimethylamine, triethanolamine, cyclohexylamine, m-phenylenediamine, 2,4,6-tri(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl)phenol, N,N-diethyl-1,3-diamino propane and substituted alkylene polyamines comprising -CN radicals, radicals of the formula -(CH2CH2O)n-in which n is an integer of 1-10 and R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl or acyl radical or aliphatically saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radicals containing 12-22 carbon atoms which are attached to a nitrogen atom of the amine either directly or through bridge members, e.g. -CO-ggroups.
