PURPOSE: A display device for a vehicle and a recording medium for the same are provided to minimize the reluctance of drivers due to the output of three-dimensional videos by providing various display methods, and to improve safe drive efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A display device(100) comprises a display panel(110), a backlight(120), a switching panel(130), an interface unit(140), a communication unit(150), an ECU interlocking unit(160), a storage unit(170), a memory(180), and a controller(190). The display panel is divided into a central part display section(110a), a right side display section(110c), and a left side display section(110b). The controller separates the output method of information on the display panel into a two-dimensional or three-dimensional method. A user chooses a section to display through the two-dimensional or three-dimensional method for inputting to the interface unit.
