PURPOSE: An information management device, an information output device, and a method are provided to simply generate and manage a letter, thereby shortening time required for generating and managing the letter. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(210) receives a request of transmission of a letter related to a specific case of an intellectual property. An authentication unit(220) authenticates a user or an information output device which transmits the request. An information management unit(260) renews a letter list for a case corresponding to the request. A mail management unit(250) transmits the letter to e-mail.
