PURPOSE: A bead wire clamping apparatus is provided to hold and fix a wound end part of a bead wire unwound from a spool, whereby the supplied bead wire wound around the spool is useable by being fully unwound without a residual quantity. CONSTITUTION: A bead wire clamping apparatus(1) comprises a let-off unit(10), a guide roll unit(30), a tension control unit(20), a tension sensor(40), and a clamping unit(50). The tension control unit controls the tension of a bead wire which is unwound from a spool by a tension control roll(21) and then wound in the gap between the guide rolls(31). The tension sensor senses the draw-off side tension of the bead wire which is drawn towards an extruder. The clamping unit is installed on the side of the tension control roll of the guide roll. The clamping unit holds and fixes the draw-off side of the bead wire which is drawn to the guide roll according the tension changes of the draw-off side of the bead wire, which are detected by the tension sensor.
