PURPOSE: A partial discharge monitoring apparatus using a Rogowski coil is provided to obtain sufficient signal intensity by receiving a partial discharge signal using a Rogowski coil penetrating a high voltage line and to receive a partial discharge signal generated due to insulation breakdown by closely installing an insulation enclosure by surrounding an insulation cover of a high voltage wire. CONSTITUTION: A Rogowski coil(2) consists of an air core surrounding a power line receiving a signal and is installed to surround one single core of three single phase cores(10,11,12). A signal processing module(4) is configured by connecting a overvoltage prevention device to a cable. An interface module(5) converts the signal processed signal into a required voltage level signal. A data processing module(6) inputs the signal from the interface module to a computer.
