EMERGENCY END BUFFER FOR DRILLSHIP

PURPOSE: An emergency buffer device of a drillship is provided to prevent marine pollution which crude oil is spilled due to damage of a drilling pipe by minimizing impact influenced in a drilling work in progress. CONSTITUTION: An emergency buffer device of a drillship comprises a buffer unit(200). A drilling pipe is installed in a ship body towards a seawater side. A steel vessel type tensioner is hung on the ship body of both sides of the drilling pipe in order to control tension in which the drilling pipe is lifted towards the seawater side. The buffer unit is installed on the bottom surface of the ship body where a pulley is dropped in order to buffer when the pulley of the steel vessel type tensioner is dropped. The buffer unit comprises a buffer member(210) and a support bar(220). The buffer member is arranged at a point in which the pulley is dropped in order to buffer impact generated due to the fall of the pulley. The support bar is connected with a lower part of the buffer unit and maintains the buffer unit from a bottom surface of the ship body to an intended height.
