METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION BETWEEN A THREAD AND A DRUM

摘要

A method for the determination of coefficient of friction between a thread and a reel includes determination of the smaller and the larger forces of thread tension in sections running on the drum and running off it, angle of wrap of the drum with the thread under conditions of generation of brake torque on the drum shaft. Preliminarily the value of total tension force in running on and running off the drum sections is set.
