A device for continuous cutting sheet material in production lines comprises a tool assembly with an actuator. Mechanisms of clamping and knife are put into movement from a link drive, actuators thereof comprise two pairs of rocker mechanisms: rocker pairs of rotary type of the knife mechanism and oscillating type of main clamping, which ensures a smooth stroke of the actuators and rapid back stroke at a constant rate of movement of a carriage with sheet material.
