METHOD FOR ASSESSING EXTENT OF MYOCARDIAL DAMAGE BASED ON ANALYSIS OF CURRENT DENSITY

A method for assessing the extent of myocardial damage based on the analysis of current density comprises magnetocardiography. The maps of current density distribution are reconstructed in frontal plane, and the total current for each map within cardiocycle is calculated. QRS complex is subdivided into four subintervals. The function of ten total current within ST-T interval is plotted. ST duration and ST/ST-T ratio are calculated. The relationship between the correlation and autocorrelation coefficients of the current map and the map at the apex of R wave within QRS is calculated. Then the presence/absence of the ventricular damage and its extent is diagnosed.
