APPARATUS FOR MEASURING BONE DENSITY USING DUAL ENERGY MONOCHROMATIC X-RAY

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring bone density using a dual energy monochromatic X-ray is provided to remove a beam hardening effect by using high energy and low energy. CONSTITUTION: A light source unit(10) generates an X-ray. A first X-ray mirror(21) reflects a polychromatic X-ray to a monochromatic X-ray of low energy band. A second X-ray mirror(22) reflects the polychromatic X-ray to a monochromatic X-ray of high energy band. A first and a second X-ray detector detect the monochromatic X-ray.
