PURPOSE: A check valve for preventing a freeze is provided to prevent a freeze in the winter by naturally discharging water remaining inside an injection pipe or a vehicle washing gun because a plate type valve opens a water path port by an act of a spring including strong elasticity when applied pressure is released. CONSTITUTION: A check valve(10) for preventing a freezing comprises a body(10a), a water path port(11), a plate type valve(12), springs(13,14), an input case(10b), and an output case(10c). The water path port is formed inside the body. The plate type valve is installed at the water path port. The spring of weak elasticity and the spring of strong elasticity are installed on the front and the rear of the plate type valve. The input case and the output case are assembled. The plate type valve opens the water path valve by the spring of the strong elasticity when water pressure is not applied. When the water pressure is applied, the plate type valve pressurizes the spring of the strong elasticity by the water pressure so that the water path port is closed.
