PURPOSE: A skidder and an installation method thereof are provided to facilitate the installation of a sky line, a main line, or a haulback line using a light endless line drawn out from an endless line winding drum. CONSTITUTION: A skidder comprises a support tower(10), a sky line(21), and a transfer machine(30). The support tower is installed in a vehicle(1) or a tractor. The sky line connects the support tower and a strut. The transfer machine is installed in the sky line and fixes logged timbers. The support tower comprises a main line winding drum(50), a haulback line winding drum(60), a driving unit(40), and an endless line winding drum(70). A main line connected to the rear of the transfer machine is wound on the main line winding drum. A haulback line(61) connected to the front of the transfer machine is wound on the haulback line winding drum via the circumference of a trolley. The driving unit is connected to the main line winding drum and the haulback line winding drum. An endless line(71) is wound on the endless line winding drum. |
