PURPOSE: A relative motion reduction device is provided to improve the convenience of installation by being detachably installed in a ship. CONSTITUTION: A relative motion reduction device(50) comprises a shock absorbing member, multi-degree of freedom members, a base plate(51), and an upper plate(52). The relative motion reduction device is installed to reduce a relative motion which is generated between a floating body and a ship. The multi-degree of freedom members are formed in both ends of the shock absorbing member and are connected to the floating body and the ship. The upper plate is attached to one of the floating body and the ship and is connected to the multi-degree of freedom members. The shock absorbing member comprises one or more hydraulic cylinders(53).
