METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF A VEHICLE MOTOR POWER AT OPERATION WITHOUT PREVIOUS RUNDOWN

A method for the determination of the motor power of a vehicle is based on use of mathematical dependence of power on parameters of motion of the vehicle, and the determination of the motor power of a vehicle is carried out just under operational conditions with use of acceleration sensors, by means of simultaneous measurement of all the types of resistance to motion of the vehicle, i.e. moments of resistance that come to existence in transmission of the vehicle, and total road and aerodynamic resistances.
