A method for borating details relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particularly to methods for chemical and thermal processing, and is designed for surface hardening of details. The method for borating involves applying plastering to the surface of the detail, which plastering includes boron carbide, cryolite, iron oxide, sodium fluoride and a binding agent, drying and heating. Preliminary the detail is coated by the chemical coating from the solution containing cobalt sulfate, nickel sulfate, sodium citrate, sodium hypophosphite, ammonium chloride, ammonia. The formed layer has a structure of white layers and comprises chromium carbides and borides. |
