METHOD FOR THERMOMECHANICAL TREATMENT OF ROLLED WIRE

A method of thermomechanical treatment of a rolled wire includes hot rolling the rolled wire and its two-step cooling, during which at the first step cooling is performed with water up to the temperatures of austenitic state, and at the second step further gradual cooling is carried out of the coils of rolled wire under insulating covers. At the first step, cooling with water is performed at the rate of 125-625 °C/s. Air cooling is carried out in two stages: at the first stage – with fan air at the rate of 1.2-1.7 °C/s, while at the second stage e holding is carried out of the coils of rolled wire for 600-1000 s in the temperature range of 550-700 °C for slow cooling at the rate not exceeding 0.03 °C/s.
