PURPOSE: A pad-base assembly for a half track of a submerged pipe laying ship is provided to increase the durability of a base plate and a polyurethane pad because loads applied from a pipe and longitudinal loads are dispersed to prevent local stress. CONSTITUTION: A pad-base assembly for a half track of a submerged pipe laying ship comprises a base plate(1), a polyurethane pad(2), and a support(3). The base plate is coupled to the links of the half track. The polyurethane pad is installed on the top of the base plate and has a recessed part(21) at the center.
