PURPOSE: A base assembly for a motor and a hard disk drive are provided to increase rigidity by a rib with press processing. CONSTITUTION: A disk is arranged on a base body(110). An outer wall unit(120) surrounds the outside of the base body. One or more ribs(112) improve rigidity of the base body. One or more blocking units(200) are equipped in a rib. One or more blocking units block abnormal air flow generated by the rib when the disk is rotated.
